John Lee, director of safety, health, and environmental services for the Grain & Feed Association of Illinois, recently completed a two-day Safe Grain Handling Operations certification course in partnership with the Asmark Institute.
The two-day course was presented July 7-8 at the Asmark Institute Agricenter in Bloomington, IL. It covers a wide range of topics, from Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards to bin rescue and lockout/tagout, to name just a few.
In this podcast, Lee discusses his experience in the grain and feed industry, safety goals and the hands-on approach to learning that has been developed for this course over the past seven years.
