Corteva Agriscience, Pioneer Seed Donate Grain Rescue Tube to Purdy, MO Fire Department

Purdy, MO — Corteva Agriscience and Pioneer Seed have teamed up to provide the Purdy Fire Protection District with a grain rescue tube, auger, and training, according to this Monett Times report.

The donation was made Sept. 10 as part of a community investment initiative help rural first responders obtain the proper rescue tools and training for a grain bin entrapment emergency.

Since 2019, Corteva has donated 27 grain rescue tubes and supplied training to fire departments across the nation.

The company will donate an additional nine grain rescue tubes by the end of the year.
