Mississippi Man, 55, Dies in Grain Bin Engulfment

Webster County, MS — A 55-year-old man has died after being engulfed in a grain bin on Friday, Nov. 19.

The Webster County coroner identified the victim as Stanley Rogers of Spring Hill.

Emergency agencies say the call came in around 5 p.m. that a man had become trapped in the grain bin.

Law Enforcement and Fire Crews across Webster County responded to the scene, as well as Calhoun County Search and Rescue.

Rogers body was recovered just before 10 p.m., according to the county emergency management agency.
